Advanced Clinical Pharmacist

Due to maternity leave in the department an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic pharmacist to come and lead a specialist clinical areas of cancer care in our growing team!, In this role you will work alongside medical and nursing colleagues, as part of the MDT to lead the provision of patient facing pharmaceutical care on wards and in outpatient clinics within a specialty. You will be an integral part of your specialty oncology team as well as the wider pharmacy team and will be involved in clinical trials and research within your chosen specialty. There will be opportunities to develop and lead pharmacist prescribing clinics in those specialties who do not currently have this service. We have opportunities to specialise in and lead areas such as; breast, lung, colorectal, upper GI, gynaecology, urology, skin, CNS. You will also have the opportunity to work within the Aseptic Production Unit, quality assessing and releasing chemotherapy. We can offer you;

  Prior experience in cancer care in not required as you will be fully supported and trained by our friendly, dedicated team; you do require a thirst to learn, a passion to deliver excellent patient centered care and transferrable leadership experience.
