Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPS) to join our established friendly ACP team in our acute medicine footprint. Successful candidates will provide expert assessment, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management skills, to patients across the adult age spectrum in all areas of acute medicine with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work autonomously as an ACP across all work streams, including Medical Assessment Unit, Primary Assessment & Triage (PAT), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and the medical short stay ward., This is a great time to join the acute medicine ACP team. Successful candidates will be pivotal to support the development of Advanced Practice in acute medicine in collaboration with the acute medicine consultant nurse and senior acute medical team. We welcome Qualified ACP applicants who have a wide range of clinical skills and experience working in acute medicine. In return for your commitment, we will support your career development and education., Fiona Crichlow Consultant Nurse and ACP lead in Emergency Medicine.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive ACPs who have the drive and tenacity to develop their professional practice and clinical skills, to join our team with delivering continued high level efficient, and safe patient centred care in acute medicine.

Post holders will need to possess a completed MSC in Advanced Practice, core skills in Advanced Life Support and an Independent Non-Medical Prescribing certification.
