The Trauma and Orthopaedic Directorate are looking for a Trauma/Fragility Fracture Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team!
A development opportunity will be considered for this position, and dependant on experience the successful candidate will either enter at Band 6, 7 or Band 8A level.
The role will be covering the Royal Stoke site with an expectation to move towards 7 day ACP cover. Following an induction period, you will be predominately ward based with outreach to other specialities or areas for our patients at UHNM and will be responsible for assessing & delivering their treatment needs., You will be expected, after completing your induction period, to work autonomously, providing inpatient care to our patients who are under the care of the trauma team.
You will be expected to be familiar with IT systems and document any care you have provided electronically.
Working with the team, you will initiate and support service development and improve patient experience based on emerging and best practice models of care responding to patient feedback and audit findings
You need to be an enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive, innovative, and highly motivated nurse or AHP. You will have demonstrable knowledge of this field and recent experience within the Trauma& Orthopaedic speciality. You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to work with the multidisciplinary team.
You will have undertaken a masters level qualification.
