As an ACP, you will be at the heart of our geriatric non-acute/rehabilitation wards, working closely with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and support staff. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care as they transition from acute medical wards at Kings Mill Hospital to their homes.
You will have the autonomy to make complex clinical decisions, deliver advanced therapeutic interventions and lead clinical practices. + Make complex clinical decisions autonomously, based on thorough assessments and diagnostic interpretations.

+ Work within the Multi-professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice in England.
+ Collaborate with clinical teams to enhance patient care, develop services, and maintain clinical excellence.
+ Lead and support medical, nursing, and allied health teams, contributing to the Trust's advanced practice strategy and vision
+ Engage in training and education within the clinical area, fostering a culture of learning and development.
+ Maintain your professional competence and pursue opportunities for research and audit.
+ Participate in formal and informal educational activities, including weekly medical Grand Rounds, geriatric department meetings, and specialist clinics.
