Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner(ACP) looking for a unique challenge or looking at a Trainee post? We have an exciting new role working as part of our Adult Eating Disorder Inpatient and Day Programme.
The Dorset All Age Eating Disorders Service offer assessment, treatment, and care for people of all ages with an eating disorder and their families.
It is an exciting time to join the inpatient and day programme team as we have recently moved into a state of the art, purpose-built new building in the grounds of St Ann's Hospital, Poole.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and innovative Trainee or fully qualified ACP to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. We want to recruit someone who will thrive within this clinical area and contribute to the work of the team.
The successful applicant will contribute both as an individual and as part of the MDT. They will be involved in providing the highest quality care for adults with eating disorders receiving treatment across inpatient and day program. The post holder will be supported in achieving their digital badge via the trainee post. Also offered regular clinical supervision and annual appraisal with opportunities for CPD and personal development.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of., To provide highly specialist high-quality person-centred care which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity using advanced clinical knowledge that is evidence based.
As part of a multi-professional team, the post holder will practice autonomously, whilst being accountable and self-directed in line with the relevant code of professional conduct.
To plan and manage complete episodes of care; undertake independent comprehensive assessment and management of service users to incorporate pharmacological considerations; making complex clinical decisions regarding service user management and clinical outcomes.
To provide expert clinical advice, leadership and support ensuring the needs of the service are met by exercising and demonstrating high levels of clinical judgement, critical analysis and advanced decision making skills.
To lead as a driver for change, to monitor and improve standards through supervision, evidence based practice, clinical audit, research and education. To promote and demonstrate best practice by integrating evidence into practice
To work strategically, contributing to the planning and development of integrated services.
The post holder will be accountable for the direct delivery of autonomous service user care.
