Full Job Description
- Practice autonomously within the Advanced Practitioner level of competence to assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting to the Urgent Treatment Centre with undifferentiated conditions (illness and injury).
- Provide Clinical Leadership for the Urgent Treatment Centre team and support and mentorship to other primary care staff where appropriate.
- Support and deliver training to Urgent Treatment Centre staff, staff within CityCare and the wider healthcare community.
- Provide mentorship and support to Urgent Treatment Centre staff, staff within CityCare and the wider healthcare community.
- Will take operational charge of a shift on a planned rota basis in the absence of the Urgent Treatment Centre Coordinator.
- Deputise for member of the management team when required to do so.
- To provide line management to a team of UTC staff members.
Msc in Advanced Clinical Practice (full MSc) - Non-medical prescriber (V300)
- Experience as an Advanced Practitioner and evidence of autonomous practice in undifferentiated care.
- Proven clinical leadership skills, knowledge and experience at senior level
- Excellent standards of care and a positive attitude to managing change and developing services.
- Motivation to develop self and others. Applications will be considered from those looking full or part time roles (if part time would need to be minimum 22.5hrs- 3 days week). There is a requirement for flexible 365 day working with shift works covering 7am to 10pm daily. Candidates must be a Regulated Health Care professional with current registration i.e. HCPC, NMC.
