Full Job Description

ACPs will provide clinical supervision, mentorship, development and support to our cohort of trainee advanced practitioners. They will work across the four pillars of advanced practice and must be able to evidence that they meet the Health Education England / National Health Service England (HEE/NHSE) requirements of this role. They will have a key role in shaping the future direction of the advanced practice project across the organisation.

As a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) on the East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) Advanced Practice Team bank you will provide exceptional clinical supervision and mentoring to our trainee ACPs through expert knowledge and wide-ranging experience of community-based urgent and unscheduled care. With a background of nursing, paramedicine or other relevant allied health profession you will have completed training to practice as an autonomous ACP and be able to work comfortably in the out of hospital environment at the higher margins of your professional capability.
You'll work alongside our trainee ACPs in clinical operations, helping to develop and guide their clinical practice and supporting their educational journey. You'll have experience in supervision and mentoring backed by a relevant qualification, and be comfortable providing constructive feedback and creating action plans where necessary.
As an ACP you will demonstrate proficiency across the four pillars of advanced practice (clinical practice, senior leadership, training and education, audit and research). You'll have completed a relevant masters award and will be a qualified and experienced independent and supplementary prescriber.
