Full Job Description
Part-time 30hrs per week (would consider a minimum of 22.5hrs per week)
This post sits within the Diabetes Dietetic team at st Richards Hospital and works closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide dietetic care to children with Diabetes.
We see patients face to face and travel to homes and school to support patients and their families to manage their diabetes., Work as part of the dietetic and multidisciplinary teams to provide highly specialist advice, education and support to patients, carers and other health professionals within the speciality of paediatric diabetes.
Provide training to undergraduate Dietitians, supervising their clinical placements.
Participate in continuing professional development, audit and research within this specialist area to further best practice.
If you have post graduate NHS experience and experience of working with children and diabetes. You must have a desire to demonstrate high standards of care with excellent communication skills, this post offers the support of a friendly department and experienced multidisciplinary team.
