Full Job Description

The role will report to the BI Business Partner for Surgery and will provide advanced analytics, including data science, modelling, and applied statistics. A key aspect of this role will be working on high profile and ground-breaking projects with key Trust stakeholders, to ensure top quality analytics are produced in liaison with partners.

We are looking for a pro-active and forward-thinking individual with strong analytical experience to join the BI Team to deliver first class intelligence and insight to the wider organisation.

Applicants should be enthusiastic about advanced health analytics and looking to make a real difference to the healthcare of the Gloucestershire population., Candidates will need significant experience of working in a BI function in a complex and changing organisation. They will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable the developments within the team to be fully realised ensuring staff have the necessary support and drive to maximise results. They will also need to be able to work collaboratively and innovatively, coming up with unique solutions to complex problems.

Our award-winning BI Team aim to use data and analytics to make a real difference to the healthcare of the Gloucestershire population. It is an exciting time within the department with new developments including the introduction of Tableau, a new data warehouse, expansion of Population Health Management, and the continued implementation of a new EPR system. These developments will continue to make the team pivotal to the post-CoViD landscape in Gloucestershire.
