Are you a clinically skilled pharmacist with expertise in medicines information and advice? Are you looking for a role that will challenge you and enhance your skill set? Can you lead a team of senior pharmacists to achieve national objectives? If so, this role is for you!, + Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations and delivery of the SPS MA clinical enquiry answering service (CEAS).
+ Team Management: Line manage staff involved in the CEAS at both NPH and GH.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with the Associate MA Professional Lead to ensure the safe, efficient, cost-effective, and patient-centred development and delivery of the SPS MA service.
+ Innovation: Be innovative and motivational in delivering the evolving SPS MA CEAS while collaborating with colleagues across multiple sites, including the local Medicines Information team at LNWH and GSTT.

Working for our organisation
NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS) supports the NHS in developing best practice systems related to buying, making, and using medicines.
Our Medicines Advice (MA) team focuses on supporting medicines optimisation and patient care through our clinical enquiry answering service (CEAS), written materials on our website, podcasts, and by supporting the NHS England Medicines Optimisation Delivery Group.

o Directly manage, undertake individual appraisals, and agree on objectives.

o Be accountable for your actions and those of any staff you line manage.
o Act independently and consistently with the values of the NHS SPS.
o Deputise for the SPS MA Associate Professional Lead at key meetings and forums where a presence from the MA function is necessary.
