Full Job Description

Campingland Surgery is looking to recruit an advanced nurse practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us to transform & modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe & effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries. This position is available on a full or part-time basis.,

  • Demonstrate a high level of expertise within the specialist service providing advice, education & support to staff, patients, families and carers.
  • Practice autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner within the designated speciality area to provide patient-centred clinical care. This will encompass the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis & treatment within an agreed scope of practice throughout the directorate.
  • Support new ways of working to emphasise a more efficient & patient-focused service, ensuring the safe treatment, referral & discharge of patients with undifferentiated & undiagnosed presentations in their area.
  • Lead the on-going development of clinical practice & standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols & guidelines in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues.

    The successful candidate may come from a range of professional backgrounds; as an experienced healthcare professional, educated to masters level, they will have developed the skills & knowledge to allow them to take on an expanded role & scope-of-practice caring for patients.

    Campingland Surgery was built in 1965 and is situated close to the centre of Swaffham. The practice prides itself on its family-focused, traditional approach to healthcare, comprising of a 5 GP partnership. Our current population is approx. 7500. We have an onsite dispensary and provide medication support to our 2 care homes that we look after.
