Full Job Description

We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in Andrology to join our team who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and driving service innovation.

This post offers the opportunity to directly impact urgent urology services and provide crucial leadership to nursing teams, making a significant difference in patient outcomes.

In this role, 60% of your time will be dedicated to improving the primary care pathway for erectile dysfunction (ED) referrals by collaborating with GPs and pharmacy to optimize diagnostics, treatment, and patient education. You will work to streamline referrals, reduce consultant triaging, and develop a robust second-line treatment pathway. Additionally, you will collaborate with the North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) on procurement and prescription processes to enhance patient access to second-line treatments, including vacuum pump devices.

The remaining 40% of your role will focus on leading and developing the CNS team, managing a holistic andrology service, and implementing outreach clinics at Whittington Hospital. You will define patient eligibility for nurse-led ANP clinics, provide educational resources, and mentor staff to ensure a patient-centered approach. You will also lead service improvement initiatives, audits, and evaluations to ensure continuous enhancement in care quality and patient outcomes.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who has or is working towards a Master/PGDip in Advanced Clinical Practice. It's important that you are forward-thinking and can demonstrate the 4 pillars of advanced practice.
