Full Job Description
To provide an effective service delivery and to be responsible for all Occupational Therapy staff within the speciality.
To manage an agreed caseload of patients and provide professional clinical support within the service speciality area.
To ensure the designated area of speciality implements and meets the recognised professional standards, the agreed therapy pathway and best practice.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and experienced Occupational Therapy team within our "Outstanding" Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 Occupational Therapist with experience in neuro-rehabilitation to work at the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU), a level one brain injury unit within Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital. The post is a job share with one of our current Band 7 Occupational Therapists.
You will have extensive experience in neuro-rehabilitation and be motivated to develop both your clinical and leadership skills and knowledge in this specialist environment.
You will work within the Occupational Therapy team, which is comprised of Occupational Therapists and support workers, who work closely with the wider MDT, providing rehabilitation for patients with a brain injury. Team work is essential to ensure that an effective and high quality service is provided for patients who have brain injuries and reflects our Trust values to ensure that an effective, safe, caring, inclusive and compassionate service is provided for this complex cohort of patients.
The role also includes key working/team link responsibilities. You should have experience in the application of assessment tools and intervention techniques relevant to this area of practice.
