Full Job Description

+ To lead in the organisation, co-ordination and delivery of the Rheumatology Physiotherapy service, providing specialist expertise in the management of children with inflammatory conditions (including pain management) and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal presentations.
+ This will involve input to the Rheumatology service, in addition to inpatients and outpatients across the trust.
+ To meet the national standards of a service caring for children with inflammatory and non-inflammatory joint conditions., Assess treat and manage Inflammatory and Non-Inflammatory patients in the clinic, outpatient and ward settings.
Lead the Rheumatology Physiotherapy service for clinical provision, staff development/appraisal and teaching.
Liaison with the wider MDT and external agencies in the planning of patient care.
Support the wider Musculoskeletal service and specialities within it, including participation in out of hours working.
