Full Job Description

As an Advanced Practitioner in Duty and Assessment, you will confidently analyze and make decisions to deliver purposeful social care. You will work independently to manage a small, complex caseload, including high-risk looked-after children and high-profile court work. Your role will involve conducting high-quality direct work with children, young people, and families, utilizing the Signs of Safety methodology to empower families to find solutions. You will lead family network meetings, carry out ongoing assessments, and co-work with team members to ensure high-quality practice., In the Support and Safeguarding role, you will focus on creative problem-solving and keeping families together. You will lead the management of complex cases, supervise and support team members, and engage in ongoing family assessments to manage risk and promote positive change. Your expertise will help navigate the family and youth justice systems, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. You will work closely with multi-agency partners to develop child-centered plans that effectively address risks and support families.
