This is a great opening to make a real difference to the lives of others and gain great development. This is a complex care service - supporting one lady with autism, learning disabilities and some element of mental health. What is important to this individual?

  • I enjoy outdoor activities, including going for very long drives and walking.
  • Other interests we have are listening to music, dancing to Cardi B, Janet Jackson and Take That
  • I am fun loving, kind, caring, considerate, respectful of other people's personal space and belongings and have a love of music.
  • I enjoy some quiet time and my space, as this is very important to me.
  • I Love my mum and would love if my staff team would make arrangements to speak to her. I visit my mum during xmas day.
  • Other important information?
  • There is always at least 3 colleagues on shift.
  • We like our staff to work Mornings 8am to 8pm, I would really appreciate if my support staff is a driver as I need to go out for a drive at least twice a day. This makes me really happy and calm.
  • In order to support us to have the Best Life Possible our team have specialist training in, autism and learning disabilities and mental health.
  • Your values

    The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, autism and sensory communication, and physical health. If you do not have a qualification, you will need to have experience in social care. You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues. We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, Makaton and the Picture Exchange System. During recruitment you will meet the people we support in their home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
