Full Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual who can work in our Key Stage 2 class on mornings supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons. During two afternoons, the successful candidate may, under the supervision of the class teacher/Headteacher, teach regular whole class lessons to children in both of our classes. As well as the ATA and/or HLTA hours, you will have Midday Supervisory Assistant duties, ensuring our pupils safely enjoy their lunch and playtime. There is also one day of Breakfast Club work to give you extra working hours and to ensure our pupils start the day off with a good breakfast. There are also regular additional hours available across Glaisdale and our partner school, Castleton., The supporting information section of your application should clearly evidence your ability to meet the requirements we have outlined in the job description & person specification.   • Appropriate experience working with children in an education setting
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Essential HLTA qualifications & experience
  • Significant experience of working with children in an education setting
  • Level 2 numeracy & literacy qualification or equivalent
  • HLTA status or QTS

  • 19hrs ATA: £10,305.60 - £10,631.94 per annum pro-rata, plus 5 hrs MSA: £2,646.00 (pro rata)
  • 15hrs ATA: £8,136.00 - £8,393.64 per annum pro-rata & 4 hrs HLTA: £2,354.02 - £2,518.54 per annum pro-rata, plus 5hrs MSA: £2,646.00 (pro rata)
