If you are enthusiastic, motivated and looking for an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of dedicated staff then this unique opportunity to work in a specialist hospital in the beautiful county of Cornwall could be for you!, To provide support to registered staff with the perioperative care of all patients. The post holder will possess knowledge of surgical procedures and be able to provide support to facilitate the delivery of high quality patient care.

Acting under the direction of registered practitioners the post holder will use available information regarding resource to support the delivery of perioperative care.

The post holder will participate in all aspects of perioperative care delivering direct patient care in a manner sensitive to the individual patient's needs and wishes, acknowledging and respecting their rights and beliefs at all times.

Experience of working in an operating department is desirable but not essential. Full training and support will be given and we offer many opportunities for further career progression.

The Royal Cornwall trust is spread across three sites; the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance and St Michaels' Hospital in Hayle.

Royal Cornwall Hospital - Operating Theatres (Trelawney, Tower and Newlyn) where you will be based, has fifteen operating theatres and is home for elective and emergency services.

You will be working with multi-disciplinary colleagues as a member of the core theatre team.
