The Ad Ops Director will be part of the International Digital Ad Operations team responsible for implementing streaming and video advertising campaigns across a large network of well-established products internationally (Paramount+, my5, PlutoTV, YouTube) and managing dozen of resellers and partners across the globe. This role will be based in London and will focus mainly (but not exclusively) on managing the relationship with sales partners and internal stakeholder for the my5 BVOD service. Attendance in the office is required for at least 3 days a week. This role will report to the VP of Multiplatform Adops in London. The structure of the team may change during this time. The wider team is formed of Ad Ops and Ad Product roles in London, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Copenhagen, New York, San Francisco. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Daily responsibilities in this role include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for communicating with partners and resellers and DSPs.
  • Daily check of fill rate and eCPM across the key products, i.e. my5 and P+.
  • Identify issues, escalate these issues to relevant teams and follow their progress until solved. Set timelines for their resolutions.
  • Collect requirements and calculate revenue loss/increase for each of those requirements.
  • Attend all internal and external calls and meetings and be able to answer questions from other teams and from external contacts.
  • Working closely with the programmatic leads and ad sales teams to find ways to increase revenue and fill rate.
  • Working very closely with the Product Team in US and UK to launch new features and ad solutions.
  • Manage compliance, block lists and competitor list and be a point of contact for escalation of sensitive categories creatives. Understanding of UK compliance is key.
  • Interacting with vendors, ad tech, strategy, and marketing teams to further our business objectives.
  • Ownership & development of ad sales operations and advertising partnerships.
  • Lead any change or improvement regarding privacy, GDPR, consent management, data collection, registration, first and third data.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the needs of various markets (in the industry) and how they relate to our centralised business
  • Solutions-oriented, with a strong knowledge of streaming and CTV and exposure to the digital ad sales process and ad architecture
  • Due to the pioneering and involved nature of our team, responsibilities will be many and varied, so the candidate should have good flexibility and willingness to pick up and run with work with moderate direction.

  • Full competency with Freewheel and SpringServe ad servers, streaming technology, SSAI and DAI.
  • Strong understanding of privacy, GDPR, consent, data sharing and audience segments.
  • Exceptional knowledge of vendors and ad tech that provide data and measurements.
  • Management and leadership experience with the ability to delegate effectively
  • Project management
  • Programmatic experience an advantage (i.e. Magnite, Xandr, Pubmatic, Index Exchange…)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse product/ad tech teams and well as account executives and clients/agencies
  • Demonstrate excellent data elaboration skills (not just Excel!), strong awareness in new digital media and technologies.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
