Full Job Description

Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours per week, with alternate Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings required.

Location: Norwich and occasional travel around Norfolk when required

Salary: £24,301 per annum

Annual Leave: 25 days (includes 5 set office closure days- 2 in the summer and 3 at Christmas) plus bank holidays

Pension: 4.5% contribution

The Role:

Your role will involve offering advice and support to clients through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, emails and webchat and various issues such as housing, debt, benefits etc.

Main Responsibilities:

· Provide clients with high-quality benefits advice by demonstrating excellent listening skills to address key issues

· Deliver good client outcomes

· Follow AQS (Advice Quality Standards)

· Keeping systems up to date and accurate at all times

· Meeting any given targets

· Supporting volunteers in their local office on occasion, full training will be provided

· Managing referrals

· Hours 37 hrs per week Monday to Friday, with alternate Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings required

What we’re looking for:

· A sincere understanding and empathy for the challenge’s individuals may encounter

· Excellent IT and organisational skills

· Proven ability to manage and prioritise own workload and meet deadlines

· Communication skills: whether it’s through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, emails, or web chat.

· Ability to build rapport and relate to a wide range of people

· Good telephone manner

· Driving licences and access to a car is desirable

Satisfactory clearance of a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) and relevant employment checks is required.
