Salary Range: Upper Teachers Pay Range plus TLR2 allowance

Work Location: The Aviary Hub, Eastleigh
Hours per week: 100%

Services for Young Children (SfYC) Early Years Advisory Team are looking to appoint two dynamic and enthusiastic full-time teachers to the post of Advisory Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your early years expertise and join a supportive team of professionals working across the county to raise outcomes for all Hampshire children. The fixed term posts have been created to support increased demand on our service due to the new Early Years Entitlements for children in the Younger Years. This opportunity will provide excellent experience for two talented and ambitious early years professionals to develop their skills in a team dedicated to improving quality in early years.

The key purpose of the role is to support schools and settings in improving outcomes for their children through the implementation of the SfYC Strategic Plan. The Advisory Teacher role will involve building trusting professional relationships and working closely with a range of different colleagues and partners across educational settings and within Hampshire County Council to deliver quality experiences for our youngest children.

As a qualified teacher, (QTS), you must have current experience and/or knowledge of working within the maintained, private, voluntary and independent sectors, and across the birth to five years age range.

We are looking for someone who has an excellent knowledge and understanding of Early Years with a passion for inclusive practice in all areas of work. You will be able to challenge existing practices and identify innovative solutions.

Travel Requirements:

You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire, and it is essential that you have a current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
