Full Job Description

a. Ensure that changes and new AI Requirements which require endorsement are accurately collated, assessed and presented in collaboration with FCG Reps to the bi-annual Aeronautical Geospatial Requirements Group (Aero GRG).
b. Ensure validation of requirements are conducted outside of the Aero GRG on a quarterly basis at minimum.
c. Maintain Defence's AI Requirements Baseline and Dashboard to assist in understanding product utilisation, scaling requirements, addressing impacts to proposed changes and advise decision-making.
d. Consolidate inputs and build a streamlined approach for requirements management stemming from various change mechanisms.

2. Customer Engagement, Solution Development and Feedback
a. Maintain the Requirements Form, Submissions and Share Point site.
b. Engage with Unit Section Leads to develop solutions that meet the Customer's needs.
c. Facilitate feedback and product refinement sessions to validate Customer requirements and ensure efficient solutions are developed.

3. Customer Engagement & Seminars
a. Provide advice to internal and external customers regarding the Unit's role, capabilities, processes and outputs.
b. Disseminate information through visits, briefings and exploitation of all available media services to improve AI provision and promote digital transformation.
c. Support Requirements Seminars across Defence to ensure AI Consumers are kept up to date with developments and requirements re-validated.
d. Engage with commercial enterprises supplying or seeking to supply aeronautical information products or services.

4. Governance, Policy and Processes
a. Develop and maintain a level of professional knowledge in Joint Aeronautical Geospatial Data Requirements, Capabilities, Processes and their implementation, as well as wider research into emerging front-line aviation practise.
b. Provide guidance into the development of Joint Services Publications, ensuring policies remain current and support DE&S acquisition.
c. Support development and implementation of Requirements and Change Management Business Process Models.

5. Personnel Responsibilities
a. Direct line management responsibilities for 7 staff and supervisory responsibilities for 5 other individuals
b. Provide leadership mentoring and technical expertise to your team.
