After School Cleaner

An opportunity has arisen at Humberstone Junior Academy for an After School Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance., As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by leadership and management., You'll have the opportunity to join a committed team of support staff, taking pride in upholding high standards to ensure all staff can enjoy working within a safe and clean environment, with training opportunities available and the ability to make a positive difference within the overall team.

Monday - Friday 3.15-5.45pm (12.5 hours per week)

42 weeks per annum - 39 weeks term time + 37.5 hours to be worked during the Summer break, carrying out a deep clean

• Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties


• Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school


• Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young people
