Full Job Description

Wheldon Infants and nursery school would like to appoint a confident and creative person to assist in our after-school club. The ideal person would have some experience of working within a school environment. The school is committed to ensuring that we have a culture of success, a positive climate for learning and pupil achievement and social and emotional development. The hours are Mon- Fri (term time only) 3 : 15pm - 6.00pm The role includes supervising the children, always ensuring their safety, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to optionally take part in, meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club. Having fun in a safe environment! Level 2 or 3 Qualifications in play work or childcare or working towards or willing to work towards this qualification would be an advantage, but not necessary. Paediatric first aid qualification desirable and be willing to undertake further training essential. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by contacting Julie Cummins, Assistant Headteacher .,
