At Bedford School we believe that learning doesn't end when the final school bell rings at 4.15 pm. We are committed to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for our students even after school hours.

As an After School Supervisor, your main duty will be to supervise boys in the library, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment that is conducive to undertaking their homework or private study. In addition to assisting with general library duties, including but not limited to: using functions of the library management system to issue books and complete stock work, checking borrower accounts and aiding students with queries.

The hours of work for this role are 4.45pm to 7pm Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday. On Thursday the hours of work are 4.45pm to 8.30pm. However, we recognise the importance of flexibility in the workplace. We understand that a traditional 5 day a week role may not suit everyone, and we are committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance.
