  • Thoroughly preparing the operating room for orthopaedic procedures, ensuring that all required equipment and supplies are readily available.
  • Providing critical assistance to the surgical team during orthopaedic surgeries by proficiently passing instruments and equipment as needed.
  • Maintaining a sterile and meticulously organized surgical environment throughout procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and seamless coordination of care.
  • Offering compassionate support and guidance to patients and their families before and after orthopaedic procedures, ensuring they feel informed and reassured at every stage.

    We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join us! The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), with specialised knowledge in orthopaedic procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment and make a meaningful impact on patient care and outcomes.,
  • Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner qualification.
  • Valid and clear NMC or HCPC registration
  • Proven and substantial experience in orthopaedic surgical settings, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the specific challenges and requirements of these procedures.
  • A strong command of sterile technique and infection control protocols, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that are essential for fostering positive patient interactions and effective teamwork.
