Are you an experienced and detail-oriented test engineer with a passion for ensuring quality in an Agile environment? We are looking for a talented Agile Development Test Engineer to join our growing testing team. In this role, you will use both manual and automated testing techniques to ensure that our software delivers the best experience for our customers and meets the highest standards of quality. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to help us achieve our goal of providing a seamless and personalized pet care experience that spans across stores, online, and veterinary services., As an Agile Development Test Engineer, your work will be critical to the successful delivery of testing initiatives. You will define, develop, and implement tests to assess both new and existing features. This role requires close collaboration with a dedicated DevOps squad to understand feature requirements and maintain quality from the start.,

  • Work collaboratively with your assigned DevOps squad to understand how new features should be tested and to ensure quality is embedded from the start.
  • Create comprehensive test plans, prepare test data, execute end to end test cases and document results in Azure DevOps.
  • Contribute to the design and development of automated test scripts.
  • Identify, document and track defects in a timely manner using issue-tracking tools. Work closely with Delivery Leads to ensure bugs are resolved and retested.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Conduct smoke testing and regression testing, ensuring new and existing features meet the required quality standards.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to testing processes, tools and methodologies to enhance team productivity.
  • Support other test team members/other squads as appropriate.
  • Regularly support the Production environment.

    We're looking for a test engineer who has:
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (minimum requirement).
  • Solid experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing techniques for test design and execution in manual testing.
  • Ability to plan, estimate, and create test scenarios from business requirements.
  • Familiarity with acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) and behaviour-driven development (BDD).
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proven experience conducting smoke and regression testing.
  • Ability to track test progress, report issues, and address blockers effectively.
