Full Job Description

As an Agile Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading a cross functional team delivering a high value, complex internal investment programme focussed on the development of a specific software tool to support the management of MOD capability development programmes across the Air, Land and Maritime domains. This Programme has a diverse and complex set of stakeholders, both internally and externally, initiating in the Air domain but broadening through the development lifecycle.

Day-to-day you will:
Deliver a complex programme totalling of approx. £30M in value (£10m per annum)

Lead sprints and work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the programme of work is delivered on time and to budget

Develop and maintain positive engagement with customers, partners and suppliers

Ensure programme members operate in line with the Operating

Lead the improvement of the QinetiQ project and programme management function, as agreed with Integrated Delivery Team Leads and the Performance Excellence team

Apply governance requirements, including lifecycle, project & independent reviews as appropriate, for foundation sales and delivery work.

Demonstrable experience in leading software development, product development and agile programmes.

Experience dealing with a complex stakeholder map (both internal and external)

Experience managing programmes with a multi-million pound budget

Qualifications for the Agile Programme Manager:
Agile PM qualification, or demonstrable Agile experience in industry
