Full Job Description
Are you interested in sharing your expertise by stepping into an educator role? At North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, we invite passionate Physiotherapy professionals to join us as AHP Clinical Facilitators.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare by supporting the education and development of students across several disciplines, including Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Dietetics, with a focus on Physiotherapy. You will be based at Peterborough City Hospital with occasional attendance at teams across other Trust sites.
We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching and sharing their knowledge and experience. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, self-motivated professional role model with excellent organisational skills and recent experience as a practice educator. Strong communication and relationship-building with practice placement educators and external stakeholders are key to success in this role.
If you are passionate about mentorship, enjoy teaching, and want to make a significant impact in healthcare education, we'd love to hear from you!, Provide visual support and guidance to pre-registration students, apprenticeships, and those returning to practice.
Collaborate with clinical teams to implement non-traditional placement models, enhancing and expanding placement capacity across the four professions, with a focus on Physiotherapy.
Work across three hospital sites to facilitate placements, training, and education for re-registration students.
Partner with the AHP Practice Educator to ensure high-quality practice placements for pre-registration students.
Foster strong relationships with practice placement educators and external stakeholders.
We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in our workforce and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, with a special focus on welcoming individuals from disabled, Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, as well as those from our local area.
In line with our dedication to employee support, we offer a variety of benefits. For more information, please see the attached staff benefits leaflet.
We strive to create a supportive and inclusive workplace where employees feel valued and empowered to excel in their roles. Join us and become part of a team dedicated to making a positive difference in our community.
