Full Job Description

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, you'll help lead our daily coverage of AI as well as oversee evergreen articles and tutorials. You'll be writing news on the latest AI developments, producing features and opinions and using and reviewing the latest consumer-facing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Apple Intelligence, Copilot, Midjourney, Grok, Claude and more. You may also be required to assist on broader computing topics such as assisting with reviews on laptops, tablets and computing peripherals. A key part of this role is also maintaining and regularly updating critical buying guides to help our readers find the best solutions for their needs. This is an editing role, so the successful candidate will also be responsible for managing a dedicated AI writer and commissioning content from a wide pool of freelance writers.

  • Experience at an online media outlet
  • Experience researching SEO trends and analyzing traffic
  • Strong industry contacts are a major plus
  • A working knowledge and passion for the growing suite of consumer-facing AI tools, industry developments and trends
  • Experience promoting stories via cross-linking and social media
