Air - Ops Wing Security Control and Safety

Working in the RAF Syerston Station Operations General Office you will have the opportunity to:

Provide high quality and timely administrative support to the 2 FTS Operations Wing and RAF Central Gliding School.
Manage the control of entry into RAF Syerston using the CCTV system. This will also include maintaining a list of expected visitors in consultation with all sections on site, directing visitors to the relevant point of contact, as well as being the first point of contact for the station generally. Report any unauthorised personnel entering RAF Syerston to the Base Security Officer.
Issuing permanent/temporary personal and vehicle passes to station staff and station visitors.
Assist the course programmers with course bookings for the RAF Central Gliding School trainees. This will include actioning accommodation requests, travel arrangements and daily transport tasking between RAF Syerston and RAF Cranwell.
Relay pertinent operational information to the airfield Duty Supervisor and other agencies for both routine and emergency situations.
Compilation of end of course reports and documentation for the course trainees and production of course certificates if required. This will also include database entry and updating when required.
Collation and reporting of all RAF Syerston faults to the Regional Prime Contractor for Work Services. Ensuring all faults are logged and monitored to a successful conclusion which will involve liaising with Defence Infrastructure and contractors as required.
Ordering all of the 2 FTS stationary requirements.
The compilation and submission of Flight Ration paperwork and ordering requests.
