We are currently seeking a Commercial Performance Analyst to support the WW Senior Commercial Performance Manager in our Central London offices. This role will join the commercial performance team in the monitoring, optimization and analysis of business performance and strategy across commercial channels, including Ecommerce, Retail & Wholesale. The ideal candidate is a pro-active analytical thinker with a commercial or financial background, who can transform performance and operational data into actionable insights. How will you contribute? Performance Insights & Benchmarking (to identify business opportunities)
- Use data to develop insights and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share information and align on strategies.
- Analysing trends and forecasting, performance benchmarking, tracking Ecommerce, Retail & Wholesale KPIs. Business reviews and Reporting
- Responsible for Weekly & Monthly tracking of trade performance.
- Support and provide guidance to internal stakeholders & regional teams on analysis for channel Performance Reviews.
- Supporting Commercial Performance Manager with ad hoc projects and analysis.
- Work with other internal & external departments such as merchandising, performance marketing, CRM, OPS and marketplaces to provide reports with a 360° approach.
- You will play as an internal area consultant, contributing to the evolution of the analysis from a business performance evaluation perspective. Budget planning and analysis
- Working closely with the Finance team and all other business stakeholders to prepare, manage, present and update the Budget/Forecast process.
- Proactively conduct advanced analysis, using a combination of different data sources and cooperating with different stakeholders to inform areas of improvement. Data Integrity & Management
- Responsible for data accuracy across E-commerce, Wholesale and Retail Performance Tools.
- Responsible to manage data inputs and ensure validity of automated data for commercial reporting.
- Work with the wider teams to utilise and drive new measurement framework.
- Act as change agent through digitalising and optimising reporting solutions, enabling business managers across levels to gain valuable information about the performance and the trading of their business.
- Inform new and relevant KPIs to measure the business strategy. Be proactive in flagging, escalating, and owning the resolution/deployment of related issues.
- Be the bridge between BI and the Business team - identifying, understanding, and articulating high-level business requests and technical impacts on Tableau/Power BI. Be able to prioritize deliverables and understand the technical feasibility of the request.
- Act as Business Analytics platform owner.
You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours. - Bachelor's degree required (Business, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics etc.)
- Advanced Excel & Powerpoint Skills, confident in analyzing and interpreting data. Experience with Tableau and Powerbi or similar data visualization tools. Google Analytics data knowledge desirable.
- You will have strong research, data, and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate actionable insights and turn complex analysis into meaningful recommendations.
- You will have strong attention to detail and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, naturally proactive and creative problem solver, self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Understanding of the luxury/retail industry advantageous, possibly with a focus on Digital, CRM or Omnichannel.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative, team player with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and team members. Contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
