Full Job Description
You'll provide excellent customer service whilst administering the end-to-end allocations process from notice to terminate to commencement of tenancy. This includes liaising with local authority partners, other external agencies and members of OM Neighbourhood team who are critical to the allocations process. The role will also be vital in ensuring tenancies are sustained and commenced correctly by conducting applicant eligibility checks and ensuring all pre-tenancy procedures are followed.
A good communicator who can deal with people at all levels, negotiate where appropriate and liaise sensitively and effectively with customers and other stakeholders.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment, with strong interpersonal skills, a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Experience in delivering an allocations service and a good understanding of allocations policy and legislative frameworks.
- Experience of setting and achieving objectives and monitor outcomes against agreed performance targets.
- Must be able to deliver results to meet agreed deadlines.
- A commitment to working flexibly to meet the needs of the service including an ability to work at weekends and in the evening as required to meet the needs of the service.
