Full Job Description

The Alternative Education Coordinator will lead and deliver on all aspects of our Alternative Education programme, covering several themes within our Alternative Education curriculum of Life Skills, Employment and Health & Wellbeing as well as supporting and guiding individuals through qualifications.

We are seeking an enthustastic and motivated individual with the ability to create, develop and implement high quality, varied and creative educational activities and learning experiences. You will have demonstrable experience of working in an educational setting and specifically with Alternative Education provision as a desirable.

You will also have experience and a skillset of effectively managing behaviour and engaging learners who have been identified to attend our setting as specialist support away from their current school or mainstream education.

The role will also utilise your ability to successfully coordinate the programme, as well as timetabling logistics with schools and of any additional team members that may deliver on the programme. The role requires proactive problem solving and critical thinking skills to enhance the programmes successes.

Each programme aims to engage and inspire participants using the power of the Aston Villa Football club, Football and the Premier League as a hook for learning.
