Waingels is seeking to appoint a committed, hard-working Coach Mentor to work in our new Succeed Centre to support our Alternative Provision and Curriculum Co-ordinator with the delivery of high-quality alternative provision for individuals and groups of students. You will support the Co-ordinator and other staff to plan, devise and deliver an exciting, challenging and flexible curriculum; delivering some aspects of this curriculum and working with small groups and individual students. The role will be varied and challenging and you will bring your energy, empathy and enthusiasm for working with young people to every aspect of this role including:
  • Delivering a range of sessions for young people
  • Working indoors and outdoors on projects, single support sessions and everything in between!

  • Support with the administration of the succeed centre
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including parents and other staff members
  • Experience of working with behaviour, social and emotional needs would be an advantage. What the school offers its staff Waingels is a very successful 11-18 comprehensive school serving its local community. Our successes and achievements can be attributed to our commitment to being exceptional, providing a safe, inclusive and rich learning environment. We set high standards and expect our students to be respectful, kind, resilient and proud of their achievements and of our school. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated and experienced team of professionals who are committed to preparing students with the skills they need to be successful today and in their future.
