Alternative Provision Tutor

To provide a young female learner in Year 4 with in person educational support, at the family home in Maidstone, Kent. 3x 2.5 hours per day across the week during daytime hours. This opportunity is looking for a female educator (learners preference) with very strong experience teaching SEN/SEMH learners. This lovely young lady has been described as wanting to learn and please her teacher but always assumes she is going to fail. She is diagnosed ADHD, ASD and has Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia. Sessions should focus on delivering English and Maths tuition in accordance to the National Curriculum in a multisensory approach to teaching. Lessons need to focus on improving self-confidence and a higher sense of self-worth, bridging the gaps in her knowledge and extending her capabilities, but should also be fun and flexible. Role is looking to begin as soon as possible., As an SEN tutor, you will plan with purpose, teach with heart, assess with insight, and offer unwavering pastoral support to nurture each learner's unique potential.
