We have a total of 33 Equine Vets across the Hospital and Ambulatory Teams. Supporting the Vets we have 15 Nurses - both Trainees and Qualified. Within the hospital we have Surgical, Medicine and Lameness specialists. The Ambulatory team is made up of 7 Vets and we are looking for one new recruit to join the team. We sponsor many local events and have recently sponsored a number of local riders., The position will require participation in a 1 in 7 out-of-hours rota. Out of hours work is relatively quiet and does not include stud work, anaesthesia or clinic admissions, which are covered by separate teams.

Donnington Grove Veterinary Group is a large practice based in Newbury Berkshire. We have a varied clientele to include pleasure horses, sport horses and racing. Our ideal candidate would be relatively experienced, confident in performing pre-purchase examinations, and eligible to carry out BHA race duties, in addition to the usual ambulatory skillset, however less experienced candidates will also be considered. You will enjoy clinical freedom with the back-up of our clinic Specialists and friendly supportive ambulatory team.
