Full Job Description

Reporting into the AML Senior Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of duties across the K3 Capital Group of companies. Due to the diversity of companies within the Group, the AML team deals with a number of different AML Supervisory Bodies and stakeholders across the businesses as a whole. The AML team also works closely with the central client onboarding team providing advice when required. This person will also have the opportunity to work on wider compliance topics such as anti-bribery and fraud prevention. At candidate preference, the role can be based from home with travel for team meetings (predominantly London) or a hybrid workstyle aligned to your nearest office (London, Bolton, Brighton, Birmingham, Maidenhead, Southampton etc). What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the MLRO and Deputy MLRO.
  • Drafting SARs to the National Crime Agency (NCA).
  • Carrying out regular monitoring activities to ensure processes are being carried out compliantly.
  • Reviewing and updating procedures and associated documentation across the wider Group.
  • Reviewing and advising on complex onboarding queries in relation to sanctions, PEP and adverse media checks. Advising on EDD
  • requirements for high risk clients.
  • Reviewing source of wealth and source of funds documents and providing case teams with further advice.
  • Assisting with the provision of internal ad hoc and annual training.
  • Working with various stakeholders, leading/assisting any ad hoc projects or initiatives within the wider Group.

  • Someone with excellent communication skills both oral and written with attention to detail.
  • Exceptionally organised with the ability to manage different multiple workflows.
  • A working and current understanding of AML legislation and best practice within financial services.
  • Analytical and with an ability to think logically and reasonably.
  • Previous experience working in an AML position within the financial services or legal sectors.
  • Someone with the confidence to have challenging conversations and deliver difficult messages.
  • Highly beneficial to possess wider Compliance knowledge such as Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) and Fraud.
