Full Job Description
We are recruiting ODP's or Anaesthetic nurses, to be based across both Broomfield and Braintree Community Hospital sites.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our established team of anaesthetic practitioners. We have 24 theatres across the 2 sites and cover a variety of specialities including Maternity, Burns, Upper GI and Plastics. We are also a key component of the Cardiac arrest team, attend trauma calls and attend airway emergencies, together with the anaesthetists, across the hospital.
Ongoing development and training will be offered including ILS, PILS and ALS with experience. We are also linked to the PMI at ARU, which allows us to attend simulation courses, along with other key members of the perioperative team.
Access, plan, implement and evaluate holistic, high quality and individualised care which respects patient personal dignity and beliefs
Maintain a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff
Maintain and promote effective communication within the care team and with colleagues, patients' relatives and visitors
Act as a mentor to students, including teaching and assessing, within their realm of competence, upholding the philosophy of evidence-based practice
Maintain a professional profile and develop skills, knowledge and competencies adhering to the NMC code of professional conduct and Trust policies and procedures
Act as a patient advocate
Be aware of the responsibilities of all employees to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and other staff members
