Anaesthetic Practitioner

As an Anaesthetic Practitioner you will:

• To safely identify, prepare, check and assemble equipment required for the relevant operating list.
• Prepare and organise the clinical area to receive patients for elective, emergency, and trauma procedures.
• Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information using various methods to ensure effective understanding.
• Contribute to the continuing development of patient care within the operating theatres, e.g. through sharing knowledge and expertise as required.
• Demonstrate and develop clinical assessment skills and prioritise the care for patients undergoing a surgical / anaesthetic procedure.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner to work in Southend University Hospital, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex for short and long term placements as well as ad-hoc shifts in a variety of NHS Hospitals and Private Organisations., Current NMC/HCPC registration
• At least 1 years' post-graduate experience.
• 6 months recent UK experience within the last 3 years.
