Ø We are seeking to recruit highly motivated enthusiastic Band 5 Anesthetic Nurse/ ODP who is passionate about providing top-quality, first-class patient care as is expected from our Trust WeCare Values.

• As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will participate in planning, delivering and evaluating the highest standard and individualised peri-operative care to patients contributing to overall effectiveness of the service and enhancing well-being of patients.


• To participate in the provision and maintenance of high standards of patient care and a safe working environment for patients and staff.


• To comply with the appropriate Codes of Conduct as members of professional body (NMC/HCPC)


• To comply with local protocols regarding drug administration following appropriate training and assessment. The Practitioner must be assessed as competent prior to undertaking new practices.

We are a department of 9 theatres in 2 different sites with 2 more theatres planning to open soon within the hospital complex:

Ø A standalone Centre of ExcellenceOrthopaedicUnit (BHOC) with 4 operating theatres and a recovery unit in Gateway Surgical Centre

Ø Maternity Services and Main Theatres in the main hospital building with 5 operating theatres and a recovery unit have come together to provide day surgery cases, emergency procedures and specialist obstetric care., Barts Health is one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, and one of Britain's leading healthcare providers.
