Full Job Description

We are in search of a flexible dual nurse/practitioner who care about providing the highest standard of perioperative care to their patients and keen in developing their existing skills.

You will have the motivation, vision and leadership qualities necessary to lead a successful theatre team and have a genuine interest in the perioperative environment. As a key member of the senior team, you will deliver high standards of perioperative care, and have the ability to support and develop theatre practitioners to facilitate excellent patient care in the operating theatres.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Anaesthetic/ Recovery team. You will have the motivation, vision, and leadership qualities necessary to lead a safe, productive, and efficient team.

You will have the ability to support, teach and develop junior staff and facilitate the delivery of high standards of safe patient care in the operating theatres.

You are required to communicate effectively with the MDT, Matrons, and Clinical Coordinators, be empathetic and able to remain calm and focused under pressure.

You must be a Registered Nurse or ODP who holds an accredited Anaesthetic course and has recent, proven Anaesthetic experience. A recognised post qualification education course is also essential.

This is a full time post and, at the moment, there are no requirements for substantive weekend work.
