Job Title: Business Analyst

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Alderley Edge or Edinburgh

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

Closing date: 28th October 2024

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our Change team focusing initially on the ideas raised under our Big Little Things initiative. As a Business Analyst, you will take ownership for delivering the full range of BA artefacts across the end-to-end change lifecycle.

With the opportunity to work alongside the Build the Future team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success. With your good understanding of the company and strong analytical skills, you will provide high quality deliverables that will support projects to delivery on time and within budget.

About the role

-Analysis of complex change initiatives
-Elicit, challenge and document requirements from stakeholders to identify and address business challenges on both waterfall and agile projects.
-Facilitate workshops with a wide range of stakeholders to understand current and future state, documenting process maps to reflect these.
-Ability to work within a team, working on one or more projects at any given time.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proposed solutions meet the requirements.
-Support User Acceptance Testing.

About you

-Experienced Business Analyst with previous experience in a BA role.
-Experience in one or more of the following disciplines (Marketing, Commercial, Life & Pensions, Data Solutions, Investments)
-Advanced in analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Experience using a variety of business analysis techniques, tools and standards.
-Proficient interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to establish and maintain relationships.
-Ability to manage own workload and support
