Full Job Description

As a key member of the programme team reporting to the Business Process Lead, the 'Transformation Analyst - Buying Process' is a fixed term contract position working exclusively on the Orion program until the successful completion of the first phase (role ends 1st Aug 2025). Bringing their expertise and knowledge from a background in end-to-end procurement processes Goods not for resale (indirect procurement), this role will work alongside a diverse team of Business, IT and other process experts to support with the programme testing & cutover phases through to go-live and hypercare. Key activities will include User Acceptance Testing preparation, data readiness and inputs to training content. Previous project experience is not required; you will partner with functional and system experts throughout the programme who will provide support and expertise as required. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of Business, IT, other programme colleagues and process experts across all three businesses. The successful candidate will also gain experience across the wider business whilst gaining valuable project/programme management skills.

  • Experience of working on process and systems change projects, representing the business needs as part of a wider project team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues to those with a non-technical background, and build strong relationships with business partners across the business.
  • Ability to move between big picture & small detail over the lifetime of the programme - ensuring that the future solution does everything it needs to, to deliver on the desired business outcomes.
  • Excellent networking skills - we'll need to understand and represent the user experience across the business. No single person has all of this knowledge today, so the challenge will be to build & use a broad network to ensure all user groups are represented.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to spot potential errors or identify areas of focus/challenge within processes and systems.
  • Critical thinker, willing to challenge with a view to process and systems improvements.

  • Experience of using SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
