Full Job Description
This role is within the Corporate Real Estate division, which provides residential and commercial development and investment finance to institutional and private clients. The successful candidate will work closely with Real Estate Consultants to support lending to large corporates and real estate funds., The Corporate Real Estate Analyst will assist in the origination and maintenance of property loans in both the residential and commercial markets. This position is critical for managing the existing loan book and facilitating new deal opportunities.,
- Loan Book Management: + Oversee the existing loan book, including annual reviews, development drawdowns, loan extensions, increases, and ad hoc client requests.
- Collaboration: + Liaise with Operations, Valuers, Monitoring Surveyors, Onboarding, Credit, Legal Counsel, and Consultants to manage the loan book and progress new deal opportunities.
- Financial Modelling: + Build cash flow models, prepare term sheets, and draft papers for potential new deals, addressing pricing, leverage, covenants, security, etc.
- Deal Analysis: + Conduct detailed analysis of new deals, including scenario and sensitivity testing.
- Financial Analysis: + Perform financial assessments of sponsors, guarantors, contractors, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Legal Process Support: + Assist the team with the legal process following Credit approval, working alongside Legal Counsel, Operations, and Onboarding to complete transactions.
- CRM Management: + Manage the team's CRM system and become familiar with the bank's other systems used for deal management.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the property market and ability to identify relevant material business risks.
- Client Management: Ability to handle demanding clients and work within tight deadlines.
- Proactive Attitude: A proactive approach to delivering exceptional service for clients.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant compliance considerations, including the regulatory environment and associated processes.
- Integrity: Commitment to acting with integrity and embracing the philosophy of treating customers fairly.

- Previous property lending experience is advantageous.
