We act like owners, maintain strong cost discipline and the drive highest and best use of our talent and investments., The Analyst, Strategic Growth Initiatives is responsible for playing a pivotal and central role across a range of projects that enhance our network footprint and capabilities. We are seeking an experienced Analyst that is ready to apply their payments and delivery expertise to guide the design and implementation of solution strategies that accelerate usage and revenue for Visa Direct, including scaled business process and technology infrastructure, alongside world class industry/developer solutions. The candidate will be a proactive self-starter who is able to take a leading role in high profile projects, collaborating with a broad range of senior stakeholders across the organisation and externally, and able to drive delivery and execution. The individual will help to drive high profile initiatives that are global in nature, as well as lead innovative and exploratory projects that seek to diversify Visa's core capabilities and addressable market. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of high-profile initiatives such as defining and executing on Visa's global regulatory strategy, partnering with global teams and external advisors to identify and mobilise new solution opportunities, and thinking innovatively to drive acceleration initiatives across the money movement network and operations business. This role will be expected to develop both short- and long-term strategies, while influencing leadership across the company to implement and execute. Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Conducting analysis in liaison with business stakeholders to define business and enabling requirements
  • Supporting critical project delivery activities, and adept at preparing materials, considerations and approaches for execution
  • Taking a leading role in driving successful project delivery by partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - both internally and externally
  • Working with external advisory and support teams to problem solve key considerations and issues
  • Support regular project review and governance forums with senior stakeholders and partners
  • Identifying and owning key projects that help to diversify Visa's strategic growth across money movement.
  • This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience. Business Analyst experience preferred.
  • Great intellectual agility and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across different disciplines both written and oral.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and any risks to the project are called out early
  • Demonstrable experience in the payments industry, specifically in cross border payments
  • Proven experience working in an Agile methodology environment (e.g. SCRUM, DSDM, Lean/Kanban) and ideally scaled agile methodology
