Animal Care Assistant

We are recruiting for an Animal Care Assistant (Auxiliary Kennel Nurse) to join the team at the Willows Veterinary Hospital, Northwich.

The role will provide assistance to the veterinary nurses in the care of our patients and general maintenance of the surgery premises.

Hours of work are on a 5 on 5 off rolling rota, working 11.30 am to 8 pm which is an average of 26.32 hours per week. Ideally candidates will have flexibility to cover for holidays and sickness for other members of the team and weekends and Bank Holidays are worked when they fall within the rota.

Full training will be provided but previous animal handling experience is required for the role and ideally previous experience of working in a veterinary environment.
