Animal Management Technician

In this role, you will be supporting lecturing staff and maintaining the Animal Management Centre alongside our established animal team. Your main priority will be ensuring the highest standard of care and welfare takes place for our animals. You will be heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the centre as well as ensuring that students are supported in their practical lessons. This role does not have any teaching or assessment responsibilities.

To apply for this role, you must hold at least a level 3 qualification in Animal Management and have 2 years' practical experience in a similar role. Applicants with aquarist experience are especially sought after.You must be a strong communicator and put animal welfare at the heart of your work.
