The role involves supporting the Antenatal Screening Coordinators with overseeing and maintaining the Antenatal and Newborn Screening programmes. We are a small and friendly team with a passion in providing high quality, evidence based, compassionate care to women and their families. This often involves women and families that receive unexpected results from the screening process and supporting them with their pregnancy decisions. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team internally and externally and maintaining the screening pathways and failsafe processes to ensure women receive high quality and a high standard of care that are in line with the NHSE Screening standards ., As part of seeking to become more inclusive, we will consider requests for flexible working from the start of your employment. - You must hold current and full NMC registration as a midwife.
- You must have a valid NMC PIN (not PRN)
- You must have 2 years experience as a band 6 midwife. You will develop your knowledge and experience in the Antenatal and Newborn screening pathways and build multidisciplinary relationships with different departments such as (but not limited to) Fetal medicine, Fetal cardiology, Paediatrics, Sexual Health, Hepatology and Laboratory leads., Disability Confident About Disability Confident A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer. York and Scarborough Trust covers a large geographical areawith two main hospital sites (York and Scarborough) and four additional peripheral sites ( Malton, Whitby, Bridlington and Selby). The post-holder base will be determinedbut there is an expectation for cross site working to meet the needs of our population and service.
