Full Job Description

  • Please note we are only able to accept applications from those with a live NMC registration or UK nursing students awaiting their PIN as we are unable to support OSCE at this time, This post will be working indirectly with the Haematology Consultants and directly with the Lead Nurse - Anticoagulation and VTE Prevention. The job holder will be responsible for the day to day management and organisation of both inpatient and outpatient anticoagulation services, outpatient DVT service and it's team members. There will be strong working links with other specialist nurses, GPs and community teams. There will be an expectation to assist with training and development of policies and guidelines relating to this specialised area., To promote and facilitate a continuous supportive anticoagulation service across the Hospital and Community setting.
  • To be a member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) for all aspects of anticoagulation To act as a resource to other health care professionals who are involved in the management of anticoagulation patients.
